About us

At Imago, we believe that all children were created to reflect the image of God and are therefore unique and capable. We love to see the excitement that newfound independence, play and interaction brings to a child. We use a strength-based approach to highlight and build upon each child’s unique strengths and interests to maximize their independence and growth. We provide occupational therapy services within functional environments, including at home, school and within your community to help your child build skills in the areas of:

  • feeding and eating independence (infant, toddler and childhood)

  • toileting independence & pelvic floor intervention

  • gross and fine motor strength and coordination

  • sensory processing (including but not limited to interoception skill building)

  • self regulation and attention

  • visual perceptual and visual motor

  • cognitive and executive functioning

  • social and emotional development

We also offer outdoor, summer swim lessons for individuals, siblings and small groups. Our OTs are able to travel to your home/backyard pool to provide developmentally based water safety and formalized swim instruction for children ages 3 and up to teach children how to be independent and safe in the pool using instruction that is individually tailored to your child’s unique sensory, motor and cognitive skill level.

Our goal is to use compassion, understanding and your child’s own motivation and strengths to empower children to engage in all that life has to offer, including: daily self care, play, social activities and routines.

We are so glad that you are here to check us out and are excited to experience life’s occupations with you!

She is a student of the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in the specialized area of pediatric bowel and bladder dysfunction.

As a mom and as an occupational therapist, Lindsay seeks to be the kind of occupational therapist that she would want for her own daughter: one who treats each child with compassion and understanding to help them grow in confidence and their own abilities. All of her treatment is grounded in developmental theory, where she designs each intervention, therapy session and swim lesson to meet every child’s unique developmental, cognitive and emotional level. Fun, play based interventions are used to make children feel safe and empowered, excited and comfortable enough to take the risks required to achieve new goals and developmental levels and milestones. Lindsay’s goal for each session is that her clients would be excited for his/her next session and taking steps towards their ultimate therapy goals!
